Pre-ad proof packet for the standalone DIY seller platform
This page gathers the checked-in product proof needed to judge whether DealPilot is worth paying for before advertising: hardened public offer copy, free planning range, saved seller workspace, paid package preview, public funnel guides, and Deal Room workflow.
Do not use this page as launch approval. Remaining live paid/authenticated proof is gated in marketing/remaining-proof-approval-packet.md and requires separate Luke approval before fixture writes, Stripe/auth checks, screenshots backed by live state, sends, deploys, ads, spend, credential changes, or legal/compliance claims.
Current pricing render shows when each paid option is worth buying, what the owner should check, and when to wait.
Boundary
Public-copy proof only. No paid entitlement, live checkout, authenticated workspace, buyer access, buyer sourcing, professional advice, ads, spend, deploy, or real seller data.
Current guide hub, representative industry guide, and comparison route renders show value-planning and private planning-range language.
Boundary
Local public-copy proof only. No paid entitlement, authenticated workspace proof, live checkout, buyer outcome, ads, spend, deploy, or real seller data.
Buyer pipeline, NDA state, offer summary, diligence vault readiness, message queue, tasks, close checklist, and Deal Room Control Map.
Boundary
No buyer records, sent NDAs, contacted buyers, Stripe, Supabase writes, external sends, ads, spend, or deploy.
Review checks
The owner can understand value before exposure.
The paid report and launch kit show concrete deliverables, not a vague service promise.
The pricing page gives owners a clear buy-or-wait decision guide for each paid option.
The Deal Room is positioned as workflow management, not a guarantee of buyer outcome.
Valuation upgrade copy is framed as documented planning, not a precise buyer-facing valuation promise.
Every screenshot and route is synthetic or approved demo data.
External launch, sends, ads, spend, live fixture writes, and legal/compliance claims remain gated.
Approval-gated proof must be captured in the order defined by marketing/remaining-proof-approval-packet.md.
Remaining proof before ads
1Valuation Report paid state: exact unlocked deliverable, synthetic estimate identifier, report timestamp, source assumptions, PDF/download path if available, and owner-controlled next step.
2Seller Launch Kit paid state: CIM-style package, anonymous teaser, draft-only outreach, launch playbook, diligence checklist, PDF path if available, and no buyer-contact claim.
3Authenticated Deal Room or pipeline state: subscription-gated workflow organization, synthetic buyer/process labels, NDA and diligence status, and no live outreach or guaranteed buyer quality.
Until those captures exist, this route is a local product-value review aid, not proof that paid entitlements, authenticated workspace state, or live checkout have been verified.
Advertising decision checklist
Use this checklist as the final local reviewer pass before asking Luke for any proof-run or advertising approval. It compresses the current readiness audit into evidence, decision, and reopen criteria without approving external action.
Paid offer value is understandable
Local pass
Evidence
Product Value Scorecard, Pricing Purchase Decision Guide, paid-package preview, Deal Room workflow preview, and no-send market-materials inventory are reviewable.
Reopen if
A paid tier cannot show a concrete owner-visible deliverable, PDF/download affordance where available, buy-or-wait criterion, or owner-controlled next action.
Advertising claims are substantiated
Local pass for internal drafts only
Evidence
Claim ledger, creative review matrix, caption bank, and guarded homepage/pricing/funnel/demo captures map claims to current proof.
Reopen if
Any draft adds buyer sourcing, outcome guarantees, professional-advice replacement, live checkout, paid entitlement, authenticated workspace, customer-count, satisfaction, revenue-analyzed, savings, or automatic-outreach claims.
Remaining proof path is executable after approval
Approval-gated
Evidence
Remaining proof packet, Luke approval template, paid/auth manifest requirements, scoped verifier command, and cleanup-status rule are visible in this packet.
Reopen if
The approval record, route family, fixture identifier, manifest token, cleanup evidence, or no-side-effect checks are missing or mismatched.
External actions stay closed
Closed
Evidence
Closed-gates section and local verifier cover sends, ads, spend, deploys, live data reads, third-party sync, payment actions, credential changes, model calls, public listing publication, and operations issue creation.
Reopen if
Any route, script, draft, capture, or approval request implies an external action can run without a separate Luke approval scope.
Current advertising decision
No-go
Evidence
Local product-value proof is strong enough for internal review, but paid-state and authenticated workspace proof have not been captured under an approved synthetic proof plan.
Reopen if
Approved paid/auth captures are added, paid-proof verification passes with the matching scope token, cleanup is complete or not required, and the readiness memo is updated with the reviewed evidence.
Checklist pass means the internal packet is coherent. It is not advertising approval, proof-run approval, legal/compliance approval, deploy approval, send approval, ad approval, spend approval, live-data approval, payment-action approval, credential approval, or model-spend approval.
Product value scorecard
Use this scorecard before any paid-offer copy is treated as worth paying for. Each offer must pass owner-visible criteria and fail closed when approved paid/auth proof is still missing.
Valuation Report
Must prove locally
Owner can inspect the value range, assumptions, method, readiness drivers, action-plan framing, non-advice boundary, and PDF/download affordance.
Current pass evidence
app/report/valuation/page.tsx, app/api/valuation/report/pdf/route.ts, /demo/paid-seller-package, and workflow-map proof.
Fail closed
Missing approved paid-state entitlement, generated-report timestamp, PDF/download path evidence, or copy implying certified valuation, exact sale price, buyer-facing valuation, appraisal, or professional advice.
Seller Launch Kit
Must prove locally
Owner can inspect CIM-style sections, anonymous teaser, Growth Planning Notes, diligence checklist, launch playbook, owner-reviewed outreach drafts, and PDF/download affordance.
Current pass evidence
app/launch-kit/page.tsx, app/api/launch-kit/pdf/route.ts, /demo/paid-seller-package, and workflow-map proof.
Fail closed
Missing approved launch-kit paid-state entitlement, checkout-tied kit evidence, PDF/download path evidence, or copy implying automatic outreach, buyer contact, ads, spend, brokerage, professional advice, or buyer-facing investment proof.
app/dashboard/pipeline/page.tsx, app/dashboard/documents/page.tsx, app/dashboard/closing/page.tsx, components/WorkspaceLockedState.tsx, /demo/deal-room-workflow, and workflow-map proof.
Fail closed
Missing approved authenticated workspace proof, active subscription-state proof, sample process data, or copy implying buyer quality, buyer sourcing, marketplace liquidity, sent NDAs, live outreach, or guaranteed closing outcomes.
If an offer fails any local criterion, remove the claim from market materials. If it passes local criteria but still lacks approved paid/auth proof, keep it in internal review or no-send drafts only.
Claim substantiation ledger
Marketing claims are reviewed against marketing/pre-ad-claim-substantiation.md before any advertising request. The ledger separates local-copy-ready, draft-only, and blocked claims so no-send drafts do not drift into unsupported sale outcomes, professional-advice replacement, paid-state, checkout, or authenticated-workspace claims.
Local-copy-ready
Standalone DIY software and free private planning-range claims are supported by current source, public-funnel renders, synthetic routes, screenshots, and the no-network verifier.
Draft-only
Valuation Report, Seller Launch Kit, Deal Room, and pricing claims require final rendered-page, env, and paid/auth proof review before external use.
Blocked
Sourced-party outcome promises, guaranteed close, live paid entitlement, live checkout, authenticated workspace proof, automatic outreach, and performance-number claims stay out of all external materials.
This ledger is an internal QA artifact only. It does not approve external sends, ads, spend, deploys, fixture writes, Stripe/auth checks, credential changes, real seller data, or legal/compliance claims.
Market materials inventory
This inventory checks the user-requested market package before advertising: offer narrative, pricing/value proof, landing-page copy, no-send email and social drafts, no-spend ad drafts, FAQ and objection handling, and screenshot/demo planning. Every artifact remains internal until the relevant proof and approval gates pass.
Primary positioning is private DIY sale-prep software: value the business, build the seller package, and manage the sale process without losing owner control.
Approval boundary
Internal review only until paid/auth proof and final creative approval exist.
Pricing and value proof
marketing/paid-offer-value-proof.md
Current state
Pricing Claim Preflight, Product Value Scorecard, and public Purchase Decision Guide map the free planning range, Valuation Report, Seller Launch Kit, and Deal Room to evidence, buy-or-wait criteria, and fail-closed triggers.
Approval boundary
Verify production env pricing and approved paid-state evidence before any external price or checkout claim.
Draft hero, supporting copy, CTAs, why-owners-use-it bullets, next-step sequence, and footer boundary are written against current owner-led source copy.
Approval boundary
No publish, deploy, ad, or public-copy change approval is implied by this internal packet.
Three draft emails cover free planning range, Seller Launch Kit, and Deal Room with preheaders, review notes, and no automatic-send or buyer-delivery claims.
Approval boundary
No external email send without separate Luke approval and the relevant send gates opened.
Search, retargeting, and LinkedIn draft ads are internal review drafts only: no campaign creation, audience uploads, pixel installation, launch, or spend without approval.
Approval boundary
No ad launch, spend, audience upload, pixel change, or campaign setup without separate Luke approval.
Caption bank and shot-by-shot demo runbook map public entry, planning result, seller workspace, paid package preview, Deal Room workflow, and this pre-ad packet to evidence and blocked claims.
Approval boundary
Only local synthetic or separately approved fixture captures; no real seller data or live paid/auth proof without approval.
Passing this inventory means the materials are reviewable as no-send and no-spend drafts. It does not make DealPilot advertising-ready while paid-state and authenticated workspace proof remain approval-gated.
Creative review matrix
Use this internal matrix before any no-send email, social post, ad draft, screenshot caption, or sales support claim becomes an approval candidate. Each row ties the working message to evidence and the boundary that must stay visible in review.
Free entry
Start with a free private planning range with assumptions shown.
Evidence
Homepage/pricing and demo planning-range captures.
Boundary
No certified valuation, appraisal, exact sale price, buyer-facing valuation, or professional advice.
Valuation Report
Upgrade only when a documented planning report for owner review is useful.
Evidence
Public report-boundary captures, pricing purchase-decision capture, paid-offer value proof, report source routes, and paid-state approval packet.
Boundary
Until approved paid-state proof exists, no live paid entitlement, production delivery, or professional-grade valuation claim.
Seller Launch Kit
Prepare CIM-style materials, an anonymous teaser, Growth Planning Notes, owner-reviewed outreach drafts, a diligence checklist, and a launch playbook.
Evidence
Workflow-map demo capture, pricing purchase-decision capture, launch-kit source routes, paid-offer value proof, and paid-state approval packet.
Boundary
No buyer contact, automatic outreach, ads, spend, brokerage, or buyer-facing investment-thesis proof.
Deal Room
Organize buyer pipeline, NDA status, diligence, offers, messages, tasks, closing work, owner controls, and evidence tracked.
Until approved authenticated proof exists, do not claim active subscription proof, live workspace provisioning, buyer quality, or marketplace liquidity.
Screenshot caption bank
Homepage/pricing
Free private planning range and owner-controlled upgrade path. Local public-copy proof only; not live checkout, paid entitlement, or production delivery proof.
Estimate result demo
Synthetic planning-range result with assumptions shown and owner-controlled next steps. Local demo proof only; not a real seller lead or buyer-facing valuation.
Paid seller package preview
Synthetic paid-package workflow preview showing report shape, Seller Launch Kit materials, owner-reviewed outreach drafts, and manual work replaced. Internal preview only; not live paid-state proof.
Deal Room workflow preview
Synthetic Deal Room control map for buyer pipeline, NDA status, diligence, offers, messages, tasks, and closing organization. Internal preview only; not authenticated workspace or active subscription proof.
Pre-ad review packet
Noindex internal readiness packet showing current local evidence, closed gates, and approval-gated paid/auth proof sequence. Not advertising approval.
Shot-by-shot demo runbook
1. Public entry
/ and /pricing
Show
Free private planning-range CTA, assumptions-shown pricing, public purchase-decision guide, and owner-controlled upgrade choices.
Allowed use
Local public-copy proof and landing-page planning.
Blocked claim
Live checkout, paid entitlement, production delivery, buyer-outcome proof, or advertising approval.
Authenticated workspace proof, active subscription proof, buyer quality, marketplace liquidity, sent NDAs, or live outreach.
6. Pre-ad packet
/demo/pre-ad-review
Show
Current evidence map, creative review matrix, caption bank, closed gates, and approval-gated proof sequence.
Allowed use
Internal readiness review and approval-request preparation.
Blocked claim
Launch approval, legal/compliance approval, fixture-write approval, deploy approval, sends, ads, spend, or real seller data.
If a screenshot or demo stop cannot be tied to this runbook, keep it out of market materials until the claim ledger is updated, the local verifier covers it, and any required external or paid/auth proof scope is approved.
Pricing claim preflight
Run this before any landing page, email, social, ad, screenshot caption, or sales-support copy uses a price, discount, refund expectation, checkout phrase, or billing cadence.
Source price
Required evidence
lib/pricing.ts defaults and any environment overrides for Valuation Report, Seller Launch Kit, and Deal Room.
Fail closed
Source default, env override, or current rendered amount is unknown or mismatched.
Rendered price
Required evidence
Current /pricing HTML/screenshot and route timestamp showing launch price, list price, and billing cadence.
Fail closed
Rendered page does not match the exact claim or has stale price, cadence, or CTA copy.
Checkout context
Required evidence
Current route review for one-time report/kit checkout and Deal Room account subscription path.
Fail closed
Copy implies live checkout, paid entitlement, anonymous Deal Room checkout, active subscription proof, or production delivery beyond approved evidence.
Discount and refund framing
Required evidence
Launch-price labels, no guaranteed-savings claim, and refund wording kept to support-review expectations.
Reviewer, reviewed_at timestamp, evidence folder or rendered route, env note, and remaining blockers.
Fail closed
Any reviewer, timestamp, evidence folder, env note, or remaining-blocker field is missing.
If any row fails, keep the price in internal review only and do not use it in external sends, ads, published pages, sales materials, screenshots, or approval requests.
Closed gates before advertising
Paid/auth proof scripts
Fixture and live-check proof scripts fail closed unless LUKE_APPROVED_PROOF_RUN=true and the matching DEALPILOT_PROOF_APPROVAL_SCOPE token are set after approval.
External deploy and indexing
Production deploy and IndexNow submission scripts fail closed unless LUKE_APPROVED_EXTERNAL_ACTION=true and the matching DEALPILOT_EXTERNAL_ACTION_SCOPE token are set after approval.
Live billing/customer/funnel/advisor data reads
Live revenue reconciliation, funnel summary, and advisor reporting fail closed unless LUKE_APPROVED_LIVE_DATA_READ=true and the matching DEALPILOT_LIVE_DATA_READ_SCOPE token are set; ops Mission Control and ops digest snapshots also require ENABLE_OPS_LIVE_DATA_READS=true after approval, and ops digest email sends require ENABLE_OPS_DIGEST_EMAILS=true after separate approval.
AI model spend
Advisor eval and sample-generation scripts fail closed unless LUKE_APPROVED_AI_SPEND=true and the matching DEALPILOT_AI_SPEND_SCOPE token are set after approval; app-runtime advisor, valuation, CIM, paid report, launch kit, and support model calls also fail closed unless ENABLE_APP_AI_MODEL_ACTIONS=true after approval.
External notifications
Support automation, customer lifecycle, valuation nurture, buyer alerts, deliverable resend, NDA, Deal Room, legal workflow, and marketplace notification emails are default-gated.
Public marketplace publication
Seller listing publication fails closed unless ENABLE_PUBLIC_LISTING_PUBLICATION=true is set after approval; unpublish remains available while the gate is closed.
Third-party integrations
HubSpot/Box OAuth connection, callback credential persistence, manual sync, and disconnect fail closed unless ENABLE_THIRD_PARTY_INTEGRATION_ACTIONS=true is set after approval.
Paperclip ops issues
Paperclip issue creation from Stripe, AgentMail, Vercel, and cron operations fails closed unless ENABLE_PAPERCLIP_OPS_ISSUES=true is set after approval.
Advice and data boundaries
No legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, brokerage, appraisal, valuation-certification, DocuSeal submission, real seller data, buyer guarantee, or paid-state claim is approved.
These gates preserve the no-send, no-spend, no-deploy, no-fixture-write posture while the remaining approval packet is pending. Read-only local repo review remains allowed; live customer, billing, financial, funnel, advisor transcript, production data reads, or AI model spend require separate approval.
Valuation upgrade copy proof
Free planning range upgrade
app/valuation/estimate/page.tsx
Uses documented assumptions, cross-checks, readiness context, and owner-controlled planning.
Saved result upgrade
app/valuation/results/[estimateId]/page.tsx
Keeps the paid report positioned as planning context, not a buyer-facing valuation promise.
Result CTA
app/valuation/results/[estimateId]/cta.tsx
Asks for a documented planning range and owner-controlled next step.
Public FAQ
app/faq/page.tsx
Avoids precise-number phrasing in public valuation education copy.
Deal Room subscription access
components/StagedUpgradePath.tsx
Keeps subscription access, billing controls, and workspace routing tied to the owner's private account without implying authenticated workspace proof.
These source-level checks are enforced by the local pre-ad verifier and copy guard. They do not prove live paid entitlement, checkout, authenticated workspace behavior, buyer interest, or professional advice.
Approval-gated proof sequence
1Record Luke-approved fixture scope, approved_by, approval_recorded_at, approval_scope_token, approved_fixture_identifier, fixture_identifier, approved_routes, local capture origin, local build identifier, allowed_mutations, forbidden_actions, captured_at plan, cleanup requirement, cleanup status, and cleanup evidence.
2Create only approved synthetic account, estimate, entitlement, business profile, Deal Room, buyer/process, and subscription-gating records.
3Capture paid valuation report, Seller Launch Kit, and authenticated Deal Room or pipeline states.
4Save non-empty .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .webp screenshots, HTML, route status, route timestamps, route-smoke-summary.json, fixture identifiers, approved_scope, fixture_identifier, local_build_identifier, capture_origin, cleanup_required, cleanup_status, cleanup_evidence, and no-side-effect checks in one approved-fixture proof folder.
5Run rtk env DEALPILOT_PROOF_APPROVAL_SCOPE=<approved-scope-token> npm run paid-proof:verify -- marketing/screenshots/<timestamp>_approved-fixture-paid-states and save the result with the capture evidence.
6Update the readiness memo with approval scope, commands run, cleanup status, and remaining no-go conditions.
The sequence is intentionally gated because it requires synthetic fixture writes or authenticated state. Until it is completed and reviewed, this route remains a local readiness aid only.
Paid/auth manifest requirements
After Luke approves a synthetic paid/auth proof run, reviewers must reject the capture unless the proof folder has a self-contained manifest that matches the remaining-proof approval packet and passes the paid proof verifier.
Required route entries
route-smoke-summary.json must include exactly one entry each for valuation_report_paid_state, seller_launch_kit_paid_state, seller_launch_kit_post_purchase_success, and authenticated_deal_room_state.
Approval metadata
The manifest must record non-empty string metadata for approved_scope, approved_by, approval_scope_token, approved_fixture_identifier matching fixture_identifier, local_build_identifier, capture_origin, cleanup_status, and cleanup_evidence; approved_routes matching the required paid/auth route names, approval_recorded_at must be an ISO timestamp, cleanup_required must be boolean, and allowed_mutations plus forbidden_actions must be explicit string arrays with no duplicate or extra entries.
Mutation boundary
allowed_mutations must exactly list synthetic_fixture_account, synthetic_fixture_estimate, synthetic_fixture_entitlement, synthetic_fixture_business_profile, synthetic_fixture_deal_room, synthetic_fixture_buyer_process, and synthetic_fixture_subscription_gating_records. forbidden_actions must include every no-side-effect boundary checked by the verifier: external_sends, ads, spend, deploy, real_seller_data, real_customer_data, fixture_data_beyond_approved_scope, stripe_mutation, auth_credential_change, email_delivery, docuseal_submission, public_listing_publication, third_party_sync, ai_model_calls, sent_ndas, and live_buyer_outreach.
Self-contained assets
Every route must include HTTP 200/pass status, text/html content type, captured_at, matching fixture_identifier, and HTML plus non-empty .png, .jpg, .jpeg, or .webp screenshot files stored inside the same approved-fixture proof folder.
No-side-effect checks
The manifest must prove no external sends, ads, spend, deploy, real seller data, real customer data, fixture data beyond scope, Stripe mutation, auth credential change, email delivery, DocuSeal submission, public listing publication, third-party sync, AI model calls, sent NDAs, or live buyer outreach.
Route-specific artifact content
Captured HTML must prove the promised artifact, not only route availability: Valuation Report content must show assumptions, readiness or owner-controlled next step, timestamp or generated/as-of marker, and PDF/download affordance; Seller Launch Kit content must show checkout-tied or owner-reviewed seller-package access, CIM-style package, anonymous teaser, owner-reviewed drafts, Growth Planning Notes, diligence checklist, launch playbook, and PDF/download affordance; Deal Room content must show synthetic or fixture labels, buyer pipeline, NDA, diligence, offer/message/task/closing workflow, and active subscription or entitled state.
Forbidden copy scan
Captured HTML must pass the forbidden-copy scanner in scripts/verify-approved-fixture-paid-states.mjs, including legacy company, process, advisor-roster, buyer-guarantee, automatic-outreach, professional-advice, certified-valuation, and formal-appraisal assumptions.
Verifier command
Run rtk env DEALPILOT_PROOF_APPROVAL_SCOPE=<approved-scope-token> npm run paid-proof:verify -- marketing/screenshots/<timestamp>_approved-fixture-paid-states so the manifest token is checked against Luke's approved scope while keeping the command rtk-prefixed.
A pending cleanup_status, a missing route, a route outside the approved family, stale evidence outside the proof folder, or a mismatched approval_scope_token keeps advertising approval closed.
Luke approval request template
This template is not approval. It is the exact wording reviewers must collect before any local synthetic paid/auth proof run, fixture write, authenticated capture, Stripe/auth check, or paid-state proof script can begin.
Proposed exact approval sentence
I approve a local synthetic paid/auth proof run for DealPilot using only the ClearAir Mechanical fixture, with approval scope token <token>, local capture only, cleanup required, no external sends, no ads, no spend, no deploy, no live customer data, no Stripe mutation unless explicitly included in this approval, no AI model calls, and no legal/compliance claims.

Default answer if any field is missing, ambiguous, or broader than the remaining proof packet: not approved. Separate Luke approvals are still required for deployment, IndexNow submission, live data reads, AI model spend, external sends, ads, spend, buyer outreach, legal/compliance claims, credential changes, and any Stripe mutation not explicitly listed in allowed_mutations.
